A. 20-0183 TRAFFIC AND SAFETY COMMITTEE ACTION ITEMS FROM MEETING OF MARCH 3, 2020 - CRENSHAW BOULEVARD AT PALOS VERDES DRIVE NORTH AND AT CHADWICK LANE - CONCERNS OF ACADEMY HILLS HOMES ASSOCIATION Memorandum from David Wahba, Community Development and Public Works Director Recommendation: That the City Council approve the two Traffic and Safety Committee items: 1) Crenshaw Boulevard/Palos Verdes Drive North - Install two signs that state: "Right Hand Turn on Red Must Yield to U-Turn", as shown on the attached Exhibit A; and 2) Crenshaw Boulevard/Chadwick Lane - Install a right turn only lane for southbound Crenshaw Boulevard at Chadwick Lane with appropriate signing. It is anticipated this change to the striping pattern can be implemented with the work associated with the Cal Water project, and at no cost to the City.
