KOSUKE AND CHIEKO TOKUNAGA; A Neighborhood Compatibility Determination (NC-210228) to legalize unpermitted construction and site work, including an attached covered porch and retaining walls within the front yard setback. A Minor Deviation (MD-210229) is required to decrease the front yard area by less than 10%. A Variance (V-210230) is required to build beyond the forwardmost building line.

    This is the first house we see when entering our neighborhood and we have been very upset over the work already done. We do not feel that the “Mobile Home” look that was added to the front of the house is compatible with the neighborhood. Revisions needs to be made to improve the look and make it cohesive with other homes nearby. It is currently not a Ranch or Contemporary Ranch style as required. And the added “retaining walls” appear to be falling down the hillside.
