Issue of vehicles turning ‘right on red’. Vehicles do not stop before the crosswalk, nor are they paying attention to pedestrians (often school aged children) using the crosswalk to cross the street. The addition of a crossing guard to help children cross the street in the mornings and afternoons. It may also help as a more visible reminder to vehicle drivers to stop at lights, and be aware of pedestrians.
