In accordance with Assembly Bill 361 (AB 361), City Council Resolution Nos. 2487, 2490, 2491, 2493, 2498, 2499, 2503, 2505, 2507, 2512, 2519, 2521 and 2530 due to the continuing state of emergency, including masking and social distancing directives as a result of the threat of the COVID-19 virus, this meeting is being broadcast via teleconference. Members of the public may participate in-person in the Council Chambers, or virtually in the meeting in the following ways: - Members of the public may listen to the meeting live by calling: (1 669 900 9128) from any phone, Meeting ID: 844 4819 5823 Passcode: 781993. (Please note you will not have the ability to speak using the call in option from a phone line.) - Public correspondence may be emailed to the carolc@rollinghillsestatesca.gov. Emails received before 5:00 p.m. prior to the start of the meeting will be forwarded to the Planning Commission for their consideration and included as part of the record. - Members of the public may also comment online using eComment on the "Meeting Agendas, Minutes & Videos" page of the City's website (www.rhe.city/agendas). Once the agenda is published, there will be an "eComment" button next to the linked agenda under "Upcoming Events". Follow this link to the City's SpeakUp page. After you register, you may comment on any item on that particular agenda. A. 22-0565 PLANNING APPLICATION NO. PA-220241; LOCATION: 19 BUCKSKIN LANE; APPLICANT: DAVE AND HELEN SHAW; A request for a Neighborhood Compatibility Determination (NC-220242) to legalize two unpermitted detached accessory structures built less than 7' away from a bridle trail. A Variance (V-220243) is required to consider an application for building a structure less than 7' to a bridle trail per RHEMC Section 17.06.330. The proposal also includes a grading application (G-220244) for on-site grading greater than 3' in depth and 20 cubic yards of import/export.

A. 22-0563 PLANNING APPLICATION NO. PA-220220; ADDRESS: 6 DEERHILL DRIVE, ROLLING HILLS ESTATES,CA 90274; APPLICANT: DOMINGO OTTOLIA; A request for a Neighborhood Compatibility Determination (NC-220221) for an interior remodel of an existing single-family residence that also includes a 269 sq.ft. single-story addition, façade update including new windows, doors, and siding, and redesigning the roof by removing the hip-style roof and replacing it with a standing seam metal roof. The proposal also includes increasing the roof ridge height from 12'-8" to 15'-10". This project was originally reviewed by the Planning Commission on July 11, 2022, whereby they recommended a redesign of the project.
