8. PUBLIC HEARINGS
A. 23-0405 PLANNING APPLICATION NO. PA-230046; LOCATION: 2215 POTRILLO ROAD, ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, CA 90274; APPLICANT: DAMARIS BAILEY; A request for a Neighborhood Compatibility Determination (NC-230047) for the 389 square-foot single-story addition to the front face of an existing single-family residence and a new 94 square-foot attached patio cover projected into the north-facing side yard. A Variance (V-230048) is required for the encroachment of the front-facing addition into the required front yard projecting past the forwardmost building line and a Minor Deviation (MD-230049) for the reduction of the front yard by no more than 10%. The Project was reviewed in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code § 21000 and following: "CEQA") and the State CEQA Guidelines (14 CCR § 15000 and following) and was determined to be Categorically Exempt under Class 15 of the State CEQA Guidelines, Section 15301(e)(1) (Existing Facilities). Memorandum from: Katrina Kawagoe, Assistant Planner Recommendation: Staff received the official withdrawal request from the applicant on August 8, 2023, which is provided as Attachment A. Because this item has been withdrawn by the applicant, there is no further action required by the Commission.
