A. 23-1201 PLANNING APPLICATION NO. 240428; LOCATION: 67 Peninsula Center, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274; APPLICANT: Greg Cooke, DRC Engineering; A request for approval of a Precise Plan of Design (PPD-240429) for the reconstruction of a 4.91-acre portion of an existing commercial parking lot at the Peninsula Shopping Center. The Project was reviewed in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code § 21000 and following: "CEQA") and the State CEQA Guidelines (14 CCR § 15000 and following) and was determined to be Categorically Exempt under Class 2 of the State CEQA Guidelines, Section 15302 Replacement or Reconstruction. Memorandum from: Whitney Berry, Senior Planner Recommendation: That the Planning Commission approve PA-240428 (PPD-240429) with the conditions outlined in the staff report.

PA-240384; LOCATION: 30 Harbor Sight Drive, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274; APPLICANT: Kristi Skelton; A request for a Neighborhood Compatibility Determination (NC-240385) for a 228 square foot second story deck extension and a Variance (V-240386) to allow rear yard improvements within a designated future horse keeping area. The application was reviewed in accordance with the California Environmental Quality (Public Resources Code §21000 et seq.: "CEQA") and was determined to be Categorically Exempt under Class 1, Section 15301 Existing Facilities. Memorandum from: Katrina Kawagoe, Assistant Planner Recommendation: That the Planning Commission open the public hearing, take public testimony, discuss the issues, close the public hearing, and adopt Resolution No. PA-240384, approving the project.
